OnePlus continues to work on the highly anticipated Ace 5 series. While there hasn’t been much information about the new models so far, this is slowly starting to change. Recent leaks reveal technical and design details of the smartphones.
What will the OnePlus Ace 5 series offer to users?
OnePlus is set to modernize the design approach of the Ace 5 series compared to previous models. The smartphones will feature some changes in the camera design, and it is said that their overall appearance will resemble the OnePlus 13.
The standard model will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the more powerful Pro variant will use the newly introduced Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. This indicates that the devices will be flagship-level in terms of performance. Additionally, the Pro model will offer up to 24GB of RAM.
Both models will feature a 1.5K resolution flat OLED display manufactured by BOE. While the Ace 5 will have a standard flat screen, the Ace 5 Pro is expected to use the BOE X2 panel. These screens are said to offer high resolution and excellent color reproduction. Furthermore, they will support 100W charging speeds.
The Pro model is rumored to include a Sony IMX906 main camera and an ISOCELL JN1 telephoto sensor, similar to the imaging technology used in the OPPO Find X8 series. Both sensors are expected to have a resolution of 50 megapixels.
